About Pauline

Our Founder and CEO, Pauline has a lifelong association with the fitness industry which started at a young age, representing her school and clubs in local and national competitions as a gymnast and swimmer respectively. Later in life she continued to instruct fitness locally and after the birth of her first child Pauline trained to be a UKRLSS Lifeguard in a leisure center.

A few more years later (and another baby), Pauline managed the leisure center with its new addition of a ‘Dry facility’ encompassing a crèche, sports hall, dance/fitness studio and sauna areas. Qualifications that ensued enabled Pauline to be responsible for dosage and plant tasks to ensure clean and healthy bathing for the local authority clients.

Pauline was by now a qualified swimming teacher, aerobics teacher, weight training instructor and Gym Instructor – ready to provide prescriptive and remedial programmes and courses.

Also, having completed management courses to further her career, she set about the compilation of funding bids that were to proposition a school holiday time activity within the center, to low-income families in the area who’s children would benefit from a sports ‘Holiday Club’ as an affordable, subsidised adventure.

Forward wind and skip a few years (alright more than a few – and a few more babies)! Today Pauline has a great deal of experience, knowledge and challenges; an ideal cocktail of life to be able to give back to other women with the intention of harnessing a support network for other women who, like Pauline, have been through many, many ups and downs in life.

For the inexhaustible reasons we women are challenged; WomenWalk encourages time and space for the mature woman to take-it-in-their-stride, literally. Improve fitness levels, lower stress levels, control conditions and to feel ready to deal with anything.
